Snow Drift

This fun penguin cotton has been designed by Michael Zindell for Clothworks Fabrics. This wintery pattern has penguins positioned in every direction. Some solemnly stare up at the snow falling, while others play, jump and stretch their flippers out wide around them. The little addition of scarves on some of the penguins makes it feel like this animal pattern has come straight out of a polar party.

With a width of approximately 110cm (43 inches), “Snow Drift” is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches), half a metre (19 ½ inches) or skinny quarter, which is 25cm (8.9 inches) by the full width. If you want to order a combination of these lengths e.g. combine half a meter and a skinny quarter to make 75cm (29 ½ inches) in length, then don’t worry, we’ll send this as a continuous piece unless you ask us to cut it. But if you don’t want the full width, then we also have fat quarter sizes, measuring approximately 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches).

This cotton fabric is perfect for a range of sewing projects from dressmaking to quilting and lots of craft projects in between. We think that it would be particularly fun to make a zoo animal zipper pouch, a Christmas cotton cushion, or a perfect penguin pencil skirt.
