“Animal Babies,” is a zoo full of fun! This delightful cotton by Michael Miller Fabrics is part of the Jungle Paradise collection.

Bustling with a playground full of cute cartoon critters, each adorable animal is brimming with personality. There are giraffes stretching necks up to the sky, zebras flaunting their iconic black and white stripes, and a little mouse standing upright on its tiny hind legs as if pausing to take in the spectacle around it. Elsewhere baby elephants sit near lounging leopards and lions with flowing manes join the fun too.

And if that wasn’t enough animals, tossed into the pattern are also a radiant red parrot, with its blue wings aflutter, a grinning monkey with a long, curled tail, a cheerful frog and even a carefree tortoise out for a stroll. The animals are set against a light sky blue background with little hints of white fluffy clouds behind them. Together it makes for a playful pattern which appeals to both the young and young at heart.

With a width of approximately 110cm (43 inches), “Animal Babies” is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches) or half a metre (19 ½ inches). If you order multiple quantities, they will be sent as a continuous length. The fabric is also available as a fat quarter, measuring approximately 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches), in case you had something smaller in mind.

Perfect for a whole range of sewing projects, this cotton would be suitable for making everything from quilting to crafting. But we think it would be extra fun to have a playroom party. We are imagining maybe a lion on a lunch bag, a parrot on a play mat, or even a zoo-themed zippered bag.
