“Into The Forest” is a cotton from Michael Miller Fabrics that invites you on a delightful journey straight into a storybook scene.

The colours in this cotton are as vivid as the story they tell. A lush green background dotted with cheerful little forest trees including an apple tree with its green and red fruits, sets the stage for our favourite classic fairytale characters.

Little Red Riding Hood stands happily in her iconic crimson cape, while nearby, the Big Bad Wolf, with his sly grin and sharp teeth, adds a hint of mischief and mayhem to the scene. The Three Bears Cottage is just below her, with a bright yellow roof and inviting red door with potential porridge tasting ready inside. An enormous bear almost bigger than the house stands behind it. The size difference between the bear and the house only adds to the feeling that you are seeing the story through a child’s eyes.

A candy-cane and sweetie-trimmed home like that of the witch in Hansel and Gretel’s story also stands in the woods. A girl with golden locks and a blue frock stands in front. Maybe this is Gretel or maybe this is Goldilocks on her way to the 3 bears. Or perhaps it could even be Miss Muffet looking for her tuffet!

Three Little Pigs are wandering between the trees. With 2 wolves in this fabric, one may be looking for the pigs’ houses as the other is following. Each pig is a burst of energy, with bright overalls in red, green and blue.

“Into The Forest” is approximately 110cm (43 inches) in width and is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches) or half a metre (19 ½ inches). A continuous length will be sent if you order multiple quantities. If you need a smaller amount then we also have it for sale as a fat quarter, measuring about 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches).
