Night Fox

Description

This fox cotton fabric by Michael Miller Fabrics is a twilight lilac dreamscape, where cute foxes meet the mystical night sky. Purple is a colour known to calm the spirit and inspire the imagination, and that is definitely something that this cotton fabric does well.

This tranquil pattern features foxes in various positions. Some curled up asleep with noses tucked down towards their tails, while others sit calmly. Some even look to be dancing between the stars. Perhaps chasing dreams, or perhaps they are the guardians of the night. Their coats are a soft blend of warm apricot and cream, with subtle white accents that give the impression of moonlight reflecting off their fur. Little stars have fallen onto the fur itself in places, which hints at magic and stardust, giving it an other-worldly feel.

Between the foxes are crescent-shaped moons and sprinkles of stars, giving these woodland animals a more cosmic feel. The foxes playing amongst the constellations with their eyes closed gives a dream-like quality to this pattern, like a lullaby in textile form.

“Night Fox” is approximately 110cm (43 inches) in width and is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches) or half a metre (19 ½ inches). A continuous length will be sent if you order multiple quantities. For smaller amounts, then a fat quarter, measuring about 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches) is also available.
