This dreamy purple cosmic pattern from Michael Miller Fabrics features realistic looking spacecraft, circling satellites, orbiting space stations, lunar landers and fire trailing rockets shooting off into the distance against a swirling purple far-off galaxy background, sprinkled with tiny white stars.

Floating across this cotton fabric are all sorts of space-faring wonders, each one drawn in a retro-futuristic style that feels like it’s drifted straight from an epic 1960s sci-fi comic book. Detailed in light purples and whites, it gives a cosmically metallic feel to them. This simple colour scheme and keeps this fabric more subtle and grown-up feeling rather than the usual colour-filled children’s space cotton fabrics.

This pattern has been printed on a high quality cotton fabric which is just as fun to use for quilting as it is for crafting and more. We think that it would be particularly fun to use it to make boy’s spaceship shorts, a satellite shirt, or maybe even a rocket-filled rucksack!

“Spacecraft” is approximately 110cm (43 inches) wide and is available by the meter (39 ⅓ inches) or half a meter (19 ½ inches). If you require a continuous length, just add multiple quantities to your cart before checking out and we’ll send it all as one piece. For smaller projects, a fat quarter measuring about 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches) is also available.
