Polar Plungers

Whales and narwhales swim through this pattern in a playfully peaceful style. “Polar Plungers” has been created by Beth Reed Designs for Studio E Fabrics. This 100% cotton features a repeating pattern across the full width of the fabric so you can keep the motion of the ocean going for as many metres or centimetres as you need.

The navy and denim blue colour scheme gives a chilled-out and relaxed feel to this seaside cotton, letting the whales subtly pop in and out of the underwater striped colours of the waves.

Although this fabric would be perfect for a wide range of sewing projects from quilting to crafting, we think that it would be particularly fun to use this cotton to make some boys’ under-water under-bed storage baskets, a whale waistcoat, or even an oversized ocean tote bag.

With a width of approximately 110cm (43 inches), “Polar Plungers” is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches) or half a metre (19 ½ inches). If you want to order more than a metre, then don’t worry, we’ll send this as a continuous piece unless you ask us to cut it. But if you have a smaller creation in mind, then it’s also available as a fat quarter, measuring approximately 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches).
