It’s A Boy – Stars & Cloud Night Sky

Designed by Echo Park Paper Company, this starry night sky pattern is part of the “It’s A Boy” Collection for Riley Blake Designs. This 100% cotton has been designed with a modern nursery theme in mind. The simple deep navy, white, gold and silver colour tones have been chosen to be easy to match with most baby boy colour schemes while still being as soothing as a lullaby.

In this moonlit pattern, fluffy white clouds travel peacefully across a gentle dark blue sky. The strong contrast in colours makes this simple colour selection catch the eye perfectly, while still feeling dreamy and gentle. The moon appears in both full moon and crescent moon shapes, as if time is slowly passing while the world below sleeps. In shades of light grey and shiny silver, its gentle presence adds some mesmerising moonlight magic as they peek out between the clouds.

Gold twinkling stars burst out of the darkness in different shapes and sizes, adding a touch of colour and glimmers of hope to the pattern. They look like they have been caught mid-twinkle, with sprinkles of stardust about to shimmer out – like the kind of fairytale stars that would be perfect for wishing on.

At approximately 110cm (43 inches) in width, this cotton fabric is available by the metre (39 ⅓ inches), half a metre (19 ½ inches) or skinny quarter which is 25cm length (9.8 inches). Any orders with multiple quantities or combinations of these cuts will be sent as a continuous piece. For example, if you’d like 125cm, just add a skinny quarter and a metre to the basket before you check out and we’ll cut it as 125cm for you. We also have a fat quarter size available at approximately 55cm x 50cm (21 ½ x 19 ½ inches).
