Description
This sewing machine is a snap-on foot for high shank industrial sewing machines. Although it will snap onto low shank domestic sewing machines, it has a long metal arm that hooks over the needle bar of a high shank sewing machine. This allows the sewing machine foot to lift and lower at the same time as the needle. This is really helpful when sewing stretch fabrics as it reduces the tension on the fabric and stops the foot from stretching the fabric as it is pulled through. The knit foot also has a little blue gripper underneath it which helps to hold the fabric still next to the needle as the needle travels through the fabric which helps to reduce stitch problems through fabric slippage.
