High Shank – Roller Foot

Description

This is a screw-on presser foot for high-shank industrial sewing machines. This foot has 2 small rolling parts at the front and 2 large rolling parts underneath at the back of the foot. This means that as the feed dogs pull the fabric through from underneath, it is able to glide more easily with far less friction from above while still maintaining the stability of the foot not lifting up off the fabric. This makes it well suited to sewing difficult to work with fabrics such as PVC, oilcloth, leatherette, or thicker fabrics such as denim.
