Husqvarna Viking – Walking Foot With Removable Guide

Description
The walking foot is a screw-on sewing machine presser foot. It is able to pull fabrics through underneath the foot at the same time as the feed dogs are pulling the fabric through. This helps to minimise any friction under the foot causing fabric distortion by pulling smoothly on the fabric from above and below at the same time. This is especially useful for sewing difficult to work with fabrics such as furs, PVC or leatherette as well as reducing distortion to sew stretch fabrics more easily and accurately. This sewing machine foot is also commonly used in quilting as it reduces fabric movement when sewing multiple layers together.
This walking foot comes with a removable and adjustable guide bar. This can be used to help keep a set distance when sewing hems, and seams or for following previous lines of stitching in quilting.
