Description
This screw-on sewing machine foot allows the sewing machine to sew in any direction. This is called free-motion sewing and is sometimes also known as a darning foot. To use the foot you may find you need to lower or cover your feed dogs. This is a sprung free motion darning foot that moves with the sewing machine. The closed-toe base helps when you are embroidering around raised areas of stitching, appliques or fluffier fabrics as the full circle metal design means that there are no parts of the sewing machine foot that can get easily caught in these more susceptible areas.
