This multi-line guide foot has been designed for use with Pfaff Sewing Machines in categories B, C, D, E, F, G, J, KL

This handy presser foot has a central marking to help you guide your needle for a perfect position if you’re following a marking or line – this is especially helpful when you’re sewing decorative stitches. Even when your needle is skipping side to side, you can keep your stitching perfectly centrally.

The clear base gives perfect visibility of your fabric as you sew, with the wide guide grid stretching out on either side not only giving you more stability, the smooth surface means that it can’t easily catch on springy quilt wadding or decorative touches like laces and couching, like some feet with guide prongs are prone to.

The markings on this presser foot are set in every ¼” (6 mm) up to 1 inch (2.5cm) on either side of the central needle position. There are also side markings to help you turn  ¼” (6 mm) and ½” (12 mm) corners. These markings are really helpful if you want to sew a set distance away from something without having to mark your fabric at all. This could be used for sewing wide hems, stitching lines of shirring, quilting stripes, squares, diamonds or repeating parallel patterns. The foot opening is also wide enough for stitching repeated decorative stitch lines, or following the edge of an applique for sewing a decorative border a set distance away around it.

As a snap-on foot, the multi-line guide foot is really easy to swap out with your regular foot. Just lift your foot up and unclip your current foot, then lower the adapter down onto the central pin until this foot clicks into place. Remember to always check that your foot is securely in position and the needle moves easily before you start to sew, especially if you are picking a wide decorative stitch.
