Description
This sewing machine foot helps you to sew very narrow hems ( ⅛ of an inch / approx 3mm). To get the best results, we recommend that you fold the first ½ inch / 1 cm that you plan to sew and finger press it in place, then, with the rolled hem foot sitting on top, sew a couple of stitches. After this, keep the needle down but lift the presser foot. As the fabric is anchored in place, it will make it easier to slide the edge of the fabric into the guide without slipping out of place. Once in place, lower your foot and stitch down while continuing to feed the edge into the guide as you sew. This type of hem works best with lightweight fabrics.
These sewing machine feet have been coated by us with enamel for long-lasting colour. Not only are the bright colours fun, but they can make it easy to quickly find the sewing machine foot you need.
Universal Snap-on Feet will attach to low or high shank sewing machine adapters, which covers a wide range of both home and domestic sewing machines. If you aren’t sure if this will fit your machine, check out our sewing machine feet guide.
