Snap on - Edge Joining (Stitch In The Ditch) Foot

Sewing bee fabrics haberdashery and ribbons

This sewing machine foot has a central guide. The guide can either be used to push 2 fabric edges together and join them by zigzag stitching (or similar) for a flat join which is often used in projects such as sewing leggings. Alternately, the central guide on this foot can be used to help keep your stitching lined up with a previous line of stitching such as a seam when quilting so that your new line of stitching becomes hidden perfectly in your previous stitching or seam line. This is known as stitching in the ditch. You can also use it to help you precisely follow a line drawn with a temporary fabric marker or markings on your fabric pattern.

Universal Snap-on Feet will attach to low or high shank sewing machine adapters. If you aren’t sure if this will fit your machine, check out our sewing machine feet guide.

All fabrics will be cut as a continuous piece unless you ask us otherwise. In the unlikely event this isn’t possible we will always contact you first.

Our fabrics are all hand cut with care, never torn.

We recommend that all of our fabrics are washed at 30°c or below to improve fabric durability and colour vibrancy.

We try to match the colours in our photos as closely as possible but some differences may occur.
